Bookshelves are edged in the school colours and fitted with curved formica end panels and worktops. 

A workstation is built into one corner.

This was a great addition to the library, a place for teachers and children to sit and read, and read aloud to the class. Custom made letters above spell out "story."

As much shelving as possible was the brief for this project in order to store all of the key stage one group books. All the new bookshelves had to fit nicely around the rooms' layout, and another mobile seating/storage unit makes the most of the available space.

This carved plywood tree is another great addition to the project, each child will be able to paint a leaf with their own design and hang it on the tree so that  they can put their own stamp on the space. The open box shelving is painted in the school colours and will be used to display books and artwork.

The seating is custom made for this project, and has open space inside for storage. It is wrapped in the same formica used in the worktops and curved end panels. A foam lining in matching green protects fingers from getting caught when the lid closes, and the seat was upholstered in easy clean fabric matched to the schools orange.
